Your love of the great outdoors and all things wild, is clearly evident in your paintings. Like you, the New England area has provided much inspiration for my work, and it's certainly been a pleasure viewing yours.

Artist's Description

This painting was based on an encounter my son and I had at one of our favorite rock climbing areas, Owls Head Mountain in Groton State Forest, Vermont. This is an actual place and my son and I would often have our lunch on the same ledge where the cougar is!

I have spotted three mountain lions on my property here in Northern California. One mountain lion killed a deer and dragged it into a tree just forty feet from my home! Magnificent cats, but I prefer painting them in my studio instead of unexpected, face to face encounters!
