A quintessential pastoral autumn view with a peak of the Green Mountains of Vermont in the distance captured in oil paints on a 12 x 16 inch hardboard panel. Trees often grow among boulders and rocky outcrops where the hay cannot be cut. These are sometimes referred to as "pasture islands". Prints in various sizes and media are available.
