This new oil painting, "Aspen Trail" is 32" x 40" and is painted on a frame-less 2" deep cradled hardboard panel. The price is $6,400.00.
A trail in the Sierra Nevada Mountains above Lake Tahoe winds through a grove of old weathered aspen trees with a few stubborn leaves refusing to let go before the harsh winter winds bring heavy snows. This section of trail inspired me to capture the ruggedness of the granite outcroppings and the aspen trees that fight for survival every year at this altitude.
