This photograph was taken while hiking on Lake Tahoe's Rubicon Trail. The image has been processed to have a resemblance to an oil painting on fine linen. Note that just to the right of dead center, at the top of the dead pine, is an ospry in it nest protecting it's young. To give a sense of scale the nest was enormous!
